Care Instructions

Care instructions vary based on material. All items arrive with a care instruction card specific to your item. Below are some general best-practice guidelines for washing and storing your handmade item.

Washing

These guidelines are particularly important for wool and other natural-fibre items. Some items are machine washable (on gentle cycle).

• Hand-wash
• Use cold or cool water
• Do not "scrub" the fabric
• Squeeze out excess water
• Do not "twist" or "wring" excess water out
• Lay flat to dry (hanging may cause the item to stretch out)

Storing

Store in a drawer or on a shelf whenever possible. If you must hang your item, fold it and place it on the hanger (rather than putting the hanger inside the item). Following these guidelines ensures your item won't become warped or stretched from being hung improperly.
